U.Porto Inovação and Research and Projects Office from the University of Porto are co-hosting, together with the company RegMetrics, an online workshop on medical device regulations.
It will take place on March 18, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM, and will last 90 minutes.
This workshop is applicable for MedTech innovators working on medical device technologies. The workshop is designed to support innovators to understand the regulatory landscape for medical devices and software in the following ways:
- Qualification to determine if their device / digital health solution is a medical device;
- Classification of the medical device according to the Medical Device Regulation (EU) risk levels;
- Identification of the requirements that the medical device needs to conform with; and
- Strengthen funding proposal applications by incorporating regulatory considerations.
RegMetrics is a compliance software that simplifies the regulatory journey for innovators developing medical devices. The software platform empowers MedTech innovators to make informed decisions and streamlines the regulatory process.
