The new edition of StarShip, an EIT Health initiative, is now open. After very successful previous editions, the StarShip Programme continues to look for the best talents in the healthcare industry. The interested candidates should send their CVs and motivational letters till 10 March 2019 23h59 CET to starship@eithealth.eu.

Using the design thinking methodology developed by the Stanford University - Biodesign Concept, StarShip will be a unique opportunity for participants to be involved in industry-driven life science innovation, working together with innovators in and outside the companies in highly skilled multidisciplinary teams. During the 8 month-long programme, fellows learn a proven, action-based approach to find a solution to industry challenges, verifying user requirements and identifying potentially unmet needs in the health context, in close collaboration with key industrial players and leading local EIT Health innovating institutions. In multidisciplinary teams, fellows will develop responses to given challenges, validate them in the real health care settings, with the guidance of the StarShip academic team.

StarShip consists of two online educational modules and four fixed modules. During the programme, there will also be visits to global players in the health sector, moments of mentoring, teamwork and networking.
