What is RES4CITY Accelerathon?
An open innovation competition designed to unite the circular economy sector's most innovative minds. We're calling on students, SMEs, entrepreneurs, researchers, start-ups, and organizations to contribute to the development of smart cities.
It's more than a competition; it's an opportunity to shape the future of urban environments.
Do you have an innovative idea for one of the following challenges?
- Utilize smart energy storage to improve the availability and reliability of electric vehicle charging infrastructure
- Realize efficient soil and land management through shifting business operations in line with the circular economy principles.
- Design green hydrogen production projects.

Who can participate?
- Open globally – students, entrepreneurs, researchers, start-ups, universities, public or private sector organizations
- Teams of 3 to 5 people
- Individual participants (who will then be placed in groups)
Prize
Winners will receive an European Acceleration Ticket. The European acceleration ticket consists on a prize offered to the winners that will help that project to apply for European funds. In this case, Finnova Foundation will give the winner team advice and both will co-write a proposal to bring the winner idea to reality. Likewise, winners will have the chance to attend to events related to the topic of their idea in order to gain visibility and meet other stakeholders
