HiTech/S3E Start second call is now open!
HiTech is part of the S3E - Southern European Entrepreneurship Engine project under the name S3E Start. This is a project that wants to foster deep tech entrepreneurship in South European countries. The HiTech/S3E Start targets research teams with deep tech projects and, also, technology transfer officers.
The HiTech/S3E Start second call for applications is open until the 12th of January 2024 at 17:00 CET.
After successfully supporting 14 research teams and 10 technology transfer officers in its first edition, HiTech/ S3E Start is back with a second call for applications! This program aims to provide new opportunities to the deep tech ecosystem, bridging the gap between science and the market in Southern Europe.
HiTech/S3E Start is a unique hands-on training experience for:
- research teams with deep tech projects, grounded in a scientific discovery or meaningful engineering innovation, that want to explore the path to the market;
- technology transfer officers who want to learn a thoroughly tested methodology to foster science-based entrepreneurship and technology commercialisation.
During 18 weeks, through online classes, webinars, and mentorship, the program will provide skills in knowledge commercialisation that enables the participants to:
- link Science & Technology to product and market needs,
- better communicate science to a non-scientific audience,
- evaluate the different paths to move the technology to the market.
- Acquire skills in knowledge commercialization
Key dates of the program:
Call opening: 18 September 2023 (12:00 CET)
Call closed: 12 January 2024 (17:00 CET)
Evaluation: 12 January 2024 to 26 January 2024
Public announcement of the participating teams: 26 January 2024
