e-Boat is an accelerator for start-ups with innovative mobile health solutions. This unique programme consists of six weeks of distance learning followed by a two-week cruise and hackathon in the Baltics, where participants develop, validate and prepare products for launch in the European market.
Who should apply?
Start-ups looking to validate innovative business ideas in mobile health solutions in English language version through market analysis, building business contacts and identifying potential challenges. Teams require at least one IT-experienced member to participate in the cruise hackathon. Applicants should have their technology ready for demonstration.
Programme
E-Boat provides practical tools and business development opportunities for start-ups focused on creating mobile health apps and solutions to enhance self-care and self-management. The programme is divided into two phases.
The first phase offers six weeks of a distance-learning module, with online training on the principles of universal design, lean methodology, and customer development tools.
The second phase is the Cruise Hackathon Formula, two weeks of an intensive and unique business creation sea-trip. Start-ups will validate and pitch their ideas in five Baltic Sea destinations:
- Stockholm, Sweden
- Gdansk, Poland
- Klaipeda, Lithuania
- Riga, Latvia
- Tallinn, Estonia
During the cruise, start-ups will learn, develop their products, identify customers, and meet potential clients and local investors – all under the supervision of IT specialists and universal design mentors
