The EIT Health Investor Network connects European health-oriented investors with promising start-ups to encourage cross-border financing and co-investments. The network brings private and institutional investors together with pre-screened high-potential start-ups, making it possible to leverage the local and international funding at a faster pace. This is the first pan-European, EU-driven network for investors that is solely focused on financing healthcare innovation.
Who should apply?
The EIT Health Investor Network is suitable for innovative healthcare start-ups and SME based in Europe. The company must be incorporated/registered. It must be looking to raise a minimum of €500K (if less we can help you find local funding) in the next months or year, investors that bring their expertise into your start-up governance and international growth. The company should want to achieve a technical proof of concept (or prototype to be completed).
Programme
The Investor Network journey for start-ups begins with the candidature submission. Upon approval, start-ups are invited to sign a Memorandum of Understanding that will give them access to a deal-flow-management platform, where they will upload their documents for review by our selected investors. Interested investors will contact them to ask for their information and to potentially begin a due diligence check. Start-ups will be invited to pitch via WebEx or in person, and can then proceed with individual negotiations.
Costs
The submission of your application and the use of the Investor Network is free of charge for start-ups.
