The Health Entrepreneurship Summer School is a program focussing on business development for challenges from health care providers. The students address these challenges through a robust development process of analysis, ideation and financing, in order to create targeted solutions that led to the development of business plans and, ultimately, new start-ups.
This Summer School is co-organized by Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship at TU Delft, “la Caixa” Foundation, IS Global, University of Barcelona, YES!Delft incubator, Philips Healthcare, and Achmea Healthcare Insurance.
Who should apply?
Master students with a strong interest in health entrepreneurship. There are no requirements, other than you have finished a BSc degree and master basic English skills.
Programme
The Health Entrepreneurship Summer School is a two-week program that will take place from 1 July to 12 July. The program starts with a creathon to identify the challenges and needs in health care institutes and opportunities for the students as entrepreneurs to work on. These opportunities are further explored in ideation and validation workshops in Delft (1 to 6 July) and will materialise in the second week (6 to 12 July) during workshops in Barcelona on go-to-market and reimbursement strategies.
The anticipated end result of Health Entrepreneurship Summer School is a minimum viable proposition that participants can develop further in the Campus SHAPE programme or in the validation labs of YES!Delft, ISGlobal or at "la Caixa” Banking Foundation.
